… but I just can’t.
If you aren’t in punching vicinity of a kitten or baby, read this CNN LightYears blog entry/article on the Curiosity landing. Except that it isn’t really about the landing. It’s about inventing dangerous drama instead of embracing inspiration. And I’m not gonna let that happen on my watch.

“CNN, you and your science coverage can go jump off of a bridge. Not one so high that you are killed or permanently disabled, because that’s not a positive message to be sending to my blog readers, but one high enough that when you attempt to pull your head out of your rear end upon landing you end up doing a massively painful belly flop. I hope a pretty girl is watching when you do it, and that she points and laughs at you.” -jtotheizzoe
“Dobby didn’t mean to kill anyone. Dobby only meant to maim or seriously injure.” -J. K. Rowling :)
Agree on the article though. It always makes me laugh that people will complain about cost of space exploration when they waste a lot of money on other pointless things. Like political campaigns where they spend money to insult others in order to make themselves look better. Pick any subject matter in the world and someone can make an argument on how its not worth the money.
NASA inspires children (and adults) to do great things. Anything that does that is well worth the money in my opinion.
Amen. But better than Fox.
This is why I don’t trust the media.
damn good points!
Someone give this man a medal.
